Absolutely and BOLC unless he gets a waiver. If they are sending him to boot camp the BOLC may get waived.

OP: Tri Care Reserve Select Health Insurance (for a family) is 250-260 a month and its good insurance. My partner (also a reservist) and I kept catastrophic coverage through the firm but used Tricare.
