I live out in the boonies and there must be 10000 visible stars tonight.

You have never seen stars until you have been on a ship hundreds of miles from the nearest land on a cloudless night, it's freaking amazing.

Download a star map app for you phone. I found it interesting to learn the names of stuff I was looking at. Night sky in the mojave desert is ridiculous.

Wednesday through tonight had a very strong Aurora forecast

Can definitely agree on this. First night I saw this I just sat there for about an hour on the deck looking at how not real the stars looked. Its unreal and I have never seen anything close while on land

Heading outside of Telluride, CO for some backpacking this weekend. Hoping to get some good ones.
