I'm told it really kills a lot of bad stuff that can pollute your air quality. Worth it or not?

Dude, stop. You are smarter than this. Air filters don't work either. You think a filter in your house is more efficient than your lungs?

What is this "bad stuff" you are talking about?

If you're talking about what I think you are, I know a proctologist that says it's definitely not worth it.

Wouldn't light allow stuff to grow?

We did it just to be able to see if the air conditioner was working.

Thanks

He's got a show on Ants network. He's still nuts and lost his shite two weeks ago as he announced his separation from Casey via bobble head puppet show.

If you have a mold or any microorganism problem any germicidal uncoated fluorescent tube will work. For best results use quartz or high UV pass glass.

I'm not spending the money on it. I'm skeptical but wanted to see if anyone else has gone that route. Apparently it kills mold inside the coils and air returns or something.

This is regarding the installation of a UV light.

Fluorescent light =/= UV light

UV light is sometimes used to destroy pathogens in water, so it makes sense it could be used to destroy pathogens in air.

Stay skeptical. It's a huge racket. It used to be "steam" but that was exposed as a fraud so they moved to "lights." As somebody else said, micro-organisms thrive in light. If you aren't chronically sick what are you worried about?

fricking rube.
