Mine was 100 to 120 which I think is high. But last 3 months it's been over 200.

Edit to say No leaks no pool no watering system. 30,000 used last month. I say noway I used that much.

Turn off all water faucets inside and out then look at your meter. If you see the hands moving or the digits rotating you have a leak.

My middle of nowhere place has had a couple of $140 bills, so I started taking pictures of the meter as I visit it monthly.

Last bill showed the unoccupied house used 31 THOUSAND gallons. So I walked in the little office location and told them we got a problem

Photos show 130 gallons over the last 60 days total.

She immediately reversed and gave me $166 credit which is about 8 months minimum monthly.

A couple months ago ours was 4x the normal we had to call and get it corrected. A lot of people have had water screw ups lately. At least in North Monroe it is.

Meter readers have been known to "read" meters while sitting in their vehicle.

Lazy arse might be guesstimating.

Probably have meter readers just plugging from the last read. Get with your neighbors and see if they're also having same issues. Band together and contact supervisors and city officials. Take this shite FB! Fair is fair!
