Yes, in East Texas and N. LA. Wouldn't be of help to you though, it was back in late 60's and early 70's. Suzuki TM400 and Honda Elsinore 250's.

You have a lot of nice tracks near you. I've heard good things about Underground MX in Kemp, TX.

I still ride. Racing got too expensive and really don't have the time for it. SoCal is the MX Mecca. Several tracks to choose from including National tracks like Glen Helen and Lake Elsinore.

My nephews and their dad ride. They raced some. I Watched this when it happened. Nephew and another guy collide head on.

Raced all of high school. It was fun but man the sport is so saturated with douche bags.

Out of those tracks I raced Swan to qualify for Ponca and Lorettas. Never made it to Lorettas but Ponca was always fun.

Riding Glen Helen, Zaka, Elsinore, Cahuilla, and Pala are on my bucket list. I got to visit Washougal last summer.

Yikes! I've had a few run ins and get offs in my time. Cross rutted in my last race and crack some ribs. Hence why I do not race any longer. Was able to hide from the wife though. Wouldn't have heard the end of it.

I'm jealous.Hitting 'shougal and some of the other natinal tracks are on my bucket list. So is winning the lottery.

I haven't hit up Zaca Station yet but that central valley dirt looks bitchin. There's some local tracks like Milestone and Racetown 395 that are fun to ride too.

Dave Aldana...very cool. A living legend, really. Flattrack is some of the best racing you'll ever see.
