I've got this fear. Whenever I go to the doctor, I feel like I'm going to blackout.

I absolutely loathe any sort of bloodwork. It makes me nauseous and anxious as hell. For that reason I usually skip out on blood drives. I have to chew on a rag and hyperventilate whenever I get lab work done.

Same. I’m not afraid of the needle. Tattoos wouldn’t bother me or anything like that. It is once my vein gets involved I get lightheaded like I’m going to pass out. Not to count, actual bloodwork makes me pass out because I’m 100lbs and they tend to take too much. I don’t qualify for donating blood due to that.

I hate them, but the relief you get from an IV at one of those hydration spas is unmatched. If you get the hangover from hell, you’ll see.

IVs kill me but I’ve broken down and gone to that IV place on Coursey twice during horrible hangovers.

Oh yeah I have some form of this. I don't have much issue with shots as I can look away but having blood drawn scares me.

Of course there's a name for it, who knew?
I don't mind shots, but giving platelets was a weird experience.

My 12 year old needed shots last year. She was terrified and kind of refused the shots. The nurse and wife tried to hold her down and force it but I intervened and told them to get their hands of my baby. I took her back a few months ago after talking it over several times and she did really well. I dont mind needles of any kind but I remember being young and afraid at one time. I imagine most of us grow out of it.

Due to a a-hole dentist in my youth, I fear dentistry today. Need a couple of crowns and a couple of implants & cannot push myself to get it done. Sucks!

when I was a kid and faked being sick to miss school, my mom would say "ok give me your arm. Im taking your blood to see what you have." I let her do it a couple times but quickly stopped wanting to fake being sick.

Fast forward 10 years and I had a really bad fear of needles. I passed out a couple times during military vaccinations. If I even saw a needle, I had to clinch my arms really tight. Couldn't watch that scene in Pulp Fiction where Travolta shot up.

Weirdest thing...it almost completely went away. I dont even care any more.
