I was with this girl a couple years ago in her mid 20s who’s dad was like 85. I was like wtf that’s your dad I could have sworn that would have been your grand dad

Dang, I thought I had it bad being 58 with a 19 year old kid, you got me beat by quite a bit.
Hat's off to ya

Dad was 42 when my youngest brother was born. He died suddenly the day after my brother's 21st birthday. (Dammit, I miss him!)
My maternal grandmother was born in 1915, her father was 67 at the time of her birth. Her mother died in childbirth so the old man had to rely on help from his older daughters to help raise her.

I was 43 when my last set of twins were born. I'm in good shape so I can handle it, but it does suck when I get mistaken for their grandfather when my eldest son (24) is around.

I work with a guy who is in his early 60s and just had his first kid. Seems kind of unfortunate for the kid because the likelihood is less than 50% he'll ever see his kid grow into an adult.

My sister-in-law (no pics) was born in 1959, her dad was born in 1890.
He died when she was about 12.
Said he was crotchety but I doubt he messed with her. (Arkansasishly)

My parents were pretty young when they had us. Mom was early 20s and dad was mid to late 20s. I had kids in my 20s also.
There are positive and negative aspects to having kids young as well. You have plenty of energy but you are usually not making much money yet. I guess having them older is pretty much the opposite. Sweet spot is probably early to mid 30s for a man.
