Why does it matter? Wouldn't you rather having a gay roommate? It's not like he's gong to rape you or molest you

Yes. Let a gay friend rent out an empty bedroom my last semester in college. He only lived there 2 or 3 months.

My roommate in college. Pretended to be straight for and even had a few GFs but deep down everyone knew. Came out just before he graduated.

One time I roomed with this guy I found on Craigslist. I responded to an ad that said "ISO male roommate" and the dude seemed pretty normal when we met so I signed the lease with him. Got moved in and everything, it was going well. Then he started to do weird shite. Slowly at first, then it progressively got worse. Like he'd start out by "accidentally" walking in the bathroom (it was a 2 bed 1 bath apt) while I was showering so he could brush his teeth. Then eventually he worked all the way up to walking into my room in the middle of the night and checking me out but he'd blame it on "sleepwalking." I could've sworn he took pictures a few times too.
So one day while he was at work I noticed he left his laptop open. I checked the clock and he wasn't supposed to be home for a few hours so I started digging through his files. I never did find pictures of me, but he had some really weird shite on there. Male on male anime stuff, fan fiction written about gay couples. So then I opened up his google chrome to see what sites he was going to. The usual stuff. Pornhub gay section, gay subreddits, and then in the most recent websites in his browser history, I noticed he had been posting on tigerdroppings under the name "Flashback"

One of my roommates in college was closeted flaming gay (we all knew from the jump, but he denied it for years) and an absolute neat freak germaphobe of Seinfeldian proportions. Finally came out of the closet a couple years ago and is happily married to another man. He was my roommate for 2 years at LSU, and it was a random assignment so I didn’t know any of my roommates until they showed up on move-in day (other roommate was a creole cowboy). Honestly, pretty decent sitcom material 
You would have me, pudgy Jewish band nerd, my college gf (the deborah baronne controlling skinny b with the overweight partner trope), and creole cowboy’s gf (hot and crazy black girl). Throw in a couple of wacky friends or neighbors who show up every now and then, and I think it’s got some potential

No just him interjecting himself into your relationship like a gossiping girlfriend. Id rather him frick her so I can be done instead of months of bullshite taking months for me to decide I've had enough.

I don't know if he was gay or not, but one of my roommates at the Citadel was every effeminate. It was a 4 man room. Of course, we didn't really get to pick our roommates until Jr/Sr year.
He was solid. Kept his stuff in order and didn't bother any body else.
