Thousands of vets that were actually there are involved in re-enactments on a regular basis, and it ain't fun! Visit any Veteran's clinic and look around....

The re-enactment thing at commerative events made a lot of sense for Revolutionary War era history. We don't have pictures or film, and the military procedures were so different. Playing Viet Nam seems like it would attract weirdos as the pictures appear to confirm.

Do they do the home coming where the hippies attack the returning Vet? Do they show the job interviews where they tell the Vet they don't hire drug addicts or murders?
Do they show people marching with north Viet Nam's flag while our boys are fighting in the jungle? Do the show them chanting Ho Ho Ho Che Men?
If not they are missing out on a lot of the war.

Its for the guys who did 4 years in the corps as a warehouse worker stateside but love to tell everyone they were in the shite during the war. And wont wear a shirt or a hat unless it has the eagle, globe and anchor on it.
