Would you recommend? What company do you use?

Yes... i have Pets Best.

My dog is in double digits agewise now, so the premiums have gone up from about $20 a month when i first got it when he was about 5 yrs old, to about $45 a month now.. but it has MORE than paid for itself since he’s had a few surgeries over the years.. the insurance has covered approx 75-80% of the cost of the surgeries (each surgery has cost $900-$1200) which has been very helpful.. i recommend it.

Lol... cant speak for the OP, but i assure you that i have no affiliation with Pets Best or any insurance company, pet or otherwise (seems like selling any kind of insurance would be a difficult way to make a living.)... but i do recommend pet insurance whenever it comes up with people, because it’s helped me out, especially when my dog develops an issue at an inopportune time, which is just about every time.

We have Nationwide, one of our dogs died from cancer and before we knew what it was his spleen ruptured. We had emergency surgery to remove the spleen and insurance paid in full. I think it was around $3500. Not bad for $22 a month ins.

I’m not sure.. I haven’t tried to use the insurance for anything but surgeries he’s needed.. it may partially cover things like routine exams and shots, dental cleanings etc but i dont know.. i feel like when he had one of his surgeries a few years back, the vet recommended doing a dental cleaning since he was gonna be under anesthesia anyway, and we did one then... but i probably need to look into that since my boy is overdue for another teeth cleaning.

We have pet life insurance.

Which is good, since we lost 12 pets (so far) this year.

Holy shite. You should stick to plants or rocks. Definitely something that doesn't breathe.

This is a joke, as if he’s got a money making scheme to collect life insurance payouts on dead pets.

At least i hope so.

No! A new dog is much cheaper. Some shelters will give them away.

Insurance for humans is already a borderline scam.
