A buddy of mine was a Delta rep and he said never get the built-in kind where the valves are in the wall (behind the tile) - due to maintenance issues with the valves.

I've got built ins in 3 of my bathrooms. I love it but don't use it as often in the master because the placement jets against the door, causing water seepage under the door. We'll probably redesign in a few years and fix that.

Guests (especially female relatives) love it.
