Nothing new but i have been getting a ton lately from a Washington D.C. number. I looked the number up on Google and saw a lot of reviews about how they are trying to sell a warranty for a vehicle that you do not own and that they are very rude and often speak in Ebonics.

My question...who the hell buys anything from such? And someone must because they have called a shite ton of folks.

I expect an IRS scam around now, but this is some extra special chinchilla shite.

I used to screw with them from my office. Tried to get a home security system delivered to the hospital. Lol

It has been bad the past two days. At least 4 calls.

I've been ignoring NYC calls for awhile now. Always leave a voicemail saying I will be taken into custody by local cops for four serious allegations pressed on my name. If I call them back though they'll help me out!

I’m getting a few a day and what sucks is they are calling from my local area code with the next three numbers being those common to local cell phone carriers.

I get Indians trying to sell me solar power twice a week. I try to keep them on the line as long as possible until they hang up. It's a mind fark for them.

Went from 1-2 a day to now about 5 calls a day. It is terrible. I now no longer answer by phone if its a number I don't have saved. If it is a real person, they can leave a VM

I use Nomorobo and it blocks most of them. Occasionally one slips through so I go on my account and notify them.

When they call on the IRS scam, I always tell “You tell those mofos to come get me, but they ain’t gonna be happy when they get here”. They don’t have anything is their script to respond to that.

On other nuisance calls, I do like to act interested whe they first start their pitch, then ask them if they could hold on a minute and set the phone down and go back to whatever I was doing. You’d be surprised how long some of them will hang on. They must have a performance metric based on average call time.

The most frequent one I get lately is foreigners telling there is a problem with my Microsoft operating system that needs immediate attention. I tell them that’s weird, because I don’t have a computer. Some of them get downright argumentative that I have to have a computer.

Most of the time I just ignore any calls that I don’t know, but if I’m not doing something and am bored, I like to frick with them too.

Don't answer the phone, if you don't recognize the number.

I have an app on my phone, that whacks robo calls, after 1 ring.

I'm getting a lot of calls from my area code, both on my cell phone and my office phone. I don't know what kind of scam they're running because I don't answer them.
