Had PRK 14 years ago and would do it again tomorrow if I had to. Wife actually got lasik on Monday, just went to follow up and was 20-15
Edit: cost for the wife was $3600

very good point; that and knowing the corneal topography for any irregularities (such as astigmatism and how much) were my go/no-go decision point. In my case, all the above checked out enough that I was convinced I had an extremely high likelihood of a positive result.

23 years ago, paid around $2500, better than perfect vision but need readers now. Could’ve paid less at one of the advertising docs, but thought full price was worth it for a top tier doctor. To justify the cost to myself, I figured I would’ve easily spent $2500 on glasses/contacts/solutions over the years, not to mention the hassle. Highly recommend if you’re a good candidate.

Had it done about 10 years ago in Tampa.
Insurance gave me a couple options that cut about 1/3 off the bill if I chose one of their guys.
The most expensive option was a Doc that was a LSU grad. Don't remember his name but I'm still extremely grateful for this surgery and I'd do it again over and over.

Best money I ever spent. Had it done in 2006. Dr Charles Williamson in BR did mine.

Got it 20 years ago. Still can see well enough to not need glasses. I do need readers but that is because I’m a few months from being 50.

Worth more than what I paid for it which was $3100 and the recovery.
I had all laser. The procedure was less than 10 minutes. Had it done on a Thursday and by Saturday morning I was seeing perfectly.
Insurance knocked off $200.

I got 15ish years ago. Best thing ever. The insurance I had at the time didn’t help. It was around 3 grand.
