I’m viewing a home on Saturday in Holy Cross neighborhood. Is this a not so good area of the city?

It's not the best. At the very least, you'd do better to get on the other side of the industrial canal.

You aren't going to like the responses you're about to get.

Supposedly up and coming.

You will definitely have crime near you. Like murders and shite.

Close to the hookers on St Claude and Tupelo.

You will be driving to everything you want and decent grocery shopping is probably 15 minutes away by car, in Chalmette.

There is a reason the property there is so much cheaper than the rest of the city.

Oh yeah, frick St Claude bridge.

The Army core of engineers always bomb the levee there during hurricanes to save the city, so make sure you get flood insurance

Higher than giraffe pussy. Good for one or two things, but not a place to make groceries every day.

There selection is pretty limited too.

True for Canseco's in Arabi too

Obviously, you do not need to be looking at real estate in NO. The first criteria should be to have the abillity to determine good/bad neighborhoods without consulting TD.

Seriously, if you can't even do this, why are you looking ?

You have a very good chance of getting robbed, mugged or killed in that part of town.
