Anyone ever read a suicide note on social media?

Happened to me today. An acquaintance of mine that I pretty familiar with, whom I wasn't particularly friends with (weren't FB friends, saw it elsewhere), apparently decided to take his life after reading Final Exit.

All around, even if I didn't care for the guy, it was a pretty surreal reading it. He posted a note and a "will" and whatnot.

Is this becoming a common thing, where people leave suicide notes on social media?

I'll post one every few months if I feel like I'm not getting enough attention from friends or family.

Yes its common. It's also helped save some lives, assuming friends/loved ones realize what it is and they react in time.

This dude used an app to delay the post. Someone in the comments section called the police and they confirmed he had followed through.

Very sad. I know a local kid who posted something on social media and he was in the act but stopped in time thank God.

Something like that.

Even more of a thing is when people post on a message board that they died and came back to life just to get attention....it's almost the same amount of attention as they would get if they had actually died.

Hopefully it's a real wake up call for them to not be so selfish.

The true satanist decides of his own life and death and prefers to go out with a smile on his lips when he has reached his peak in life, when he has accomplished everything, and aim to transcend this earthly existence. But it is completely un-satanic to end one's own life because one is sad or miserable. The Satanist dies strong, not by age, disease or depression, and he chooses death before dishonor. Death is the orgasm of life. So live life accordingly, as intense as fricking possible.

Yeah, it didn't really seem to be applicable to this guys situation, but idk, I didn't do much research into. Scared to have too much of that sort of thing in my browser history

my friend's ex-girlfriend used to do this. I haven't seen one ina while, maybe she still does and I just miss it.

She has 4 attempts under her belt and her brother actually did it, so her friends took it seriously.

i have read suicide notes on internet forums multiple times.

Didn't a Georgia fan post one on The rant a year or so ago?

Not signed and dated in the handwriting of the testator or executed in the presence of witnesses and a notary. To intestacy!
