I don't think it matters. He more than likely didn't have anything to give away. Maybe some personal effects, but probably not many of those either.

My cousin use to post suicide notes all over FB after his g/f dumped him in high school. It was pathetic. I sent him a private message basically saying get over it and you will meet much hotter intelligent women in college so move on. He responded with a message saying "thanks man" and then unfriended me.
