In before slob on my knob.

Methods for pulling teeth seem to be interesting. It’s too cold for the fly ball method I just read about.

My dad pulled one of my teeth that way just to put on a show (he was probably drunk.) It worked.

My mom tried it on my older brother when we were kids. I kept slamming the door over and over and the string kept breaking or coming off. I thought it was hilarious. There was blood and he was crying and a bit apprehensive about the ordeal.

He’s fine but in retrospect this seems as if it may have been pretty traumatic for him.

I would not do this to my kid but go for it. I will just tell my kid to keep wiggling it and It will come out.

I tried it once. Didn't work.

Just pressed against my tooth really hard with my thumb until it broke through the gum line to get that dirty whore out. Tried and true method.

Yes, but it better be pretty damn loose first. Use sort string that is thick. Pliers work too.

I’ve pulled them with a string and a jerk. Tell the person getting the tooth pulled that you are going to pull on the count of three. Actually pull on the count of two. Gets them every time.

My kid begged me to do it that way. I generally just grab em and pull.

It worked. I was shocked

In my practice I do this thing for the kids with loose teeth that are scared to pull them.

I get some dental floss and tell them I'm tying a pretty bow around the tooth for the tooth fairy.

When they are distracted with me tying the bow, I suddenly pull the opposite ends of the floss that tightens the floss around the last fibers holding the tooth in and it usually pops the tooth out with little discomfort.

A few years ago I was subbing for a dentist with an illness and I pulled the old bow for the tooth fairy trick and it popped the tooth out and I was able to catch the tooth in mid air ( like I do it everytime)! It was pure luck that I caught it, everyone was impressed, but really the tooth usually winds up on the floor. I never did tell them that it was a once in a million catch.
