Yes and yes. It's worse than prescription opiates for you IMO, but better for you than heroin

First off, Suboxone is two drugs. One is a narcotic and the other inhibits narcotic effects.

Another wrong fig. It only inhibits INTRAVENOUS narcotic effects.

I know a guy on papers who does Suboxone because they don't test for it. I think he gets fricked up on it.
I hate dome and equate suboxone with it, so never tried it.

Stick with Roxanne if you are in that spectrum..

It's actually an opiate and an opiate receptor blocker.

Not bad(don't get me wrong, it still sucks.) Just tired and unmotivated. Gonna have to force yourself to do shite for a few weeks. You can google supplements to help out with the withdrawal. Best advice I can give is man up and do it. If you can't, get treatment. Life is better without that shite.

Jumping straight off 2mg a day will put you in your own private hell for a couple months. Depression, body pain, anxiety, major stomach problems, irregular body temp issues.

Anyone taking 2mg a day can safely get down to 1/2MG a day in about a month and then jump off. Again, locate some KRATOM and this is a bearable dosage to kick. Trying to jump off from too high a dose is a recipe for failure and continued opiate issues.

You are a liar and an idiot. First , if you knew anything about being addicted to opiates then you would certainly know that suboxone can definitely get you high as a kite. I went thru addiction with opiates (prescribed to me for back pain that led to surgery) and when I stopped getting prescriptions I started buying off the street. Yes , an addict. If I couldn't find percocets (what I was prescribed for almost 2 years) I would buy one or two suboxone strips. I could take a qtr of one and be just as high as if taking pills. So , yes it can get you high , high as a kite. The difference is , if you take it as a maintenance drug or thru addiction therapy / counseling then eventually (a week or 2) it will no longer give you an opiate buzz but will keep you "normal". I have used the drug in a meaningful and useful way to kick an opiate addiction. But it can very much be a drug that is abused as much as any other. 3 months tops and it can save lives and families. More than that? Find a new Dr. because the one you're seeing is cashing in on you!!

Please stop posting about things you don't know about. I will admit when I don't know what I am talking about but you Are apparently too unstable to do so.

The method of delivery is inconsequential.

That fricking shite fricked me up the one time I bought some. Strongest opiate high I ever felt and it lasted forever.

Yep. If you don't take it on a regular it will Zing you all the way out for hours!

Sub really isn't something to play with and it's incredibly difficult to kick as a maintenance med. It's absolutely possible but will require some pain and a lot of discipline. frick sub!

If you've taken it for a long period it will be just as miserable as normal opiates and probably worse since it lasts longer

Funny how the people who've been there are getting lambasted while those who are going google are arguing.

Suboxone is heaven sent for any opiate addicted soul that takes it correctly. It can be a little "speedy" at first but I can't imagine any one who isn't desperately seeking an alternative actually wanting to take it more than a few times. It absolutely will block any opiate high and is really tough to get off of but it can be more easily tapered than any alternative we have now. This country needs to wake up and make it easier for addicts to seek the help they need. Good people get addicted for reasons that are beyond them and they shouldn't be shamed for seeking help and methadone should be illegal.

That is all, everyone have a good night...

I see you've mentioned Kratom a few times... Watch out for that shite too, because you can get addicted to it also. About the last two years of my addiction I mostly took that because I moved and didn't have a connect anymore, and Kratom is pretty easy to get in south Louisiana, especially the Nola area.

That said, it's used in Europe like we use subs and methadone here(not sure how much though) and it's been pretty successful from what I've read.

What's the deal with kratom? Can you compare it to another opiate?

It's a very very mild high. It really just made me feel normal and motivated enough to get through the day when I didn't have any real opioids.

The bad thing about threads like these on the OT is that every Joe blow thinks the info they got from their junkie friends is 100% correct.

Trust me when I say I did a little more info digging on the drugs I was prescribed than the usual opiate addict
I didn't take the councillors word for it

The word on the street is that suboxone was developed because subutex was being abused through intravenous methods. The strip combines the two medicines so that if you try and dissolve them you get the good with the bad. Still no high.

But understand this, the naloxone blocks an opiate high no matter how the opiate is injested.

Ask someone besides your junkie buddy. I am correct.
