Anyone ever had success getting on a "DO NOT CALL" list?

Telemarketers are out of control these days. Constantly get calls from all kinds of states and listen to the BS only to hit option 2 at the end to hopefully stop getting calls from them to no avail. I tried the do not call registry thing but that doesn't work. Anyone know the secret to end this BS?

Hitting 2 on one list just adds you to 5 others.

I signed up for the government do not call list when it first came and never got a call after that. Certain companies are exempt though.

I get the flippen auto warranty expired crap non stop on my cell. It comes from different numbers and locations every time. When I tell them to stop calling I am already on there DNC list they tell me that this is the first time they call me. A sham! They just call from different numbers and claimed they never called you before.

it worked for my land line years ago. but, now my cell gets peppered with spam calls all the time.

Bitches call my cell phone too, I'm on the DNC list for my house and cell phone. They call constantly. At work I have a former coworkers number, a guy who never passed up a chance to sign up to win a "free vacation" or "air cleaner". I can't get on the DNC list for my work line because when I call to get on it the system IDs my work line as the main line of our company, different numbers.

Same thing happened to me this week. I'd get the occasional one before this, but l got eight calls on my cell between Monday morning and Tuesday night.

Our recent failure of a Governor was one of the best Attorney generals in the Country. He was one of first to push for a No Call list, and pushed hard on companies to stop, and fines for them to stop.
But companies have found ways around the rules. Especially if you have a credit card/loan/etc
I never get spam calls, so i can say it's worked. Almost 15 years of no BS calls.
