Athens....damn. Did he have an intervention after the first one? Because that sounds like vasospasms to me. Any docs feel free to jump in. Hope that he is ok.

Who in the everlasting frick is Eric the fricking midget?

Adds nothing to the the thread and....hrmmmmm. Your history isn't too wonderful either, dickface.

Well if you don't know who he is you can't say that, because I assure you it does. I assure you that everyone in here wants you to make a full recovery and is wishing nothing but the best for you, even the people who are messing around with their replies. That being said the way you are responding to obvious jokes and the manner in which you are doing it is EXACTLY like Eric The Midget. That little cocksucker was amazing considering what he had to deal with, anyone who was a fan of his and reads your posts in this thread would see why I say you sound like him, and I applaud you for fighting back but you don't need to because any negative replies have been said in jest and you should know that. Oh....and Rummy is a good dude so chill out and give him a break already. Ack-Ack!!!!!

ETA: I just realized I called him "Eric The Midget" in my post and when you said you didn't know who he was you called him " Eric the fricking midget".....now I think this has to be a troll.

He's fine now. He does have to take blood thinners so he bleeds constantly. That sucks. But he's fine.

I'm on a thinner too, now. If he ever bumps his head watch him very closely. A subdural hematoma can bleed real slow or real fast. Either one could require an evacuation. I've taken care of hundreds of post op brain surgeries over the years and early intervention is the key to survival and quality of life after recovery.

I wish him well.

At least you're alive. You can finally slow down too and enjoy life versus sailing through it.

I envy your situation in a way, to be that close to death , you may finally be able to appreciate life.

Best wishes, hope you have hot rehab nurses to help you.

Yes and I'm very thankful to a lot of people to be alive and almost fully functional. But I'm really not enjoying it. My main goal is to get back to work. But I don't trust myself to do what I did. I couldn't live with myself if I missed something or fricked something up and by doing so, harmed a patient. I'll find something else I guess.

Rehab nurses and techs are the salt of the earth and. Every one of mine are beautiful. But that is probably just the way that I see them.

Thank you for the well wishes.

My FIL just went thru this but didn't make it. He had a stroke that did not show on CT. Had right-sided gaze and O2 sat was around 45% when they found him the next morning. He passed 4 days later. My wife and I are very familiar with this since we see it everyday (hospice and neurosurg). We even had one of our neurosurgeons have a stroke 2 years ago. He was out a few months but is back doing surgery now. Hope you make a speedy recovery with rehab. You are correct in sometimes knowing to much. Best wishes bud

I just had a stroke in the bathroom. It's a morning ritual.

One time. This guy flashed 3 old ladys sitting on a bench in the park. Two of them had a stroke. The other one couldn't reach that far. So, she just looked at it.

So sorry to hear. Wish you the best. Am a nurse too, and yes, we know too much for our own good! Push forward.
