Good buddy of mine had one in mid 30's. Took some time to rehab but he is back and one of the happiest, most well adjusted guys you would ever meet. His very close friends notice a bit of a differerence (occasionally hunting for the right word) but most would never know.

I have, I was a baby when I had it so I don't remember anything about it. I do wonder if I have truly been affected by the stroke or that it happened so early in my life that I was able to overcome whatever effects.
