My two dogs.
Can you please point out which one is a poodle because evidently I don't know anything about my dogs.

Coons are also pretty destructive. I put down some sod last year and coons just came out at night rolled the sod back and grabbed the grubs. They are pretty clever and they can tear up a flower bed. I just leave coons alone cause they don't dig deep holes. Last night my Arlo cameras picked up a coon walking toward the trap. Five minutes later the video showed trap closed and shaking. It was an armadillo. The coon and dillo must have passed each other face to face.

Possums are great animals to have around. They eat a shite-ton of ticks and cockroaches and it’s extremely rare for them to carry rabies due to their low body temps. They also very non-aggressive. My beagle trees them pretty often, so I just bring him back inside and close the doggy door. Possums are great.

Yeah, last year I'd go outside at night with the trusty 12 gauge to wreak havoc on the armadillos. More the once I saw opossums and I just let them go.
This year I'm going to live release all the armadillos. And these are just the armadillos that come into my yard and tear my stuff up. I obviously live in the country.

Frick yes, my uncle had a blue tick coon dog when we were young. He would fight anything, killed 1000's of coons and several opossums and they all bit back until he crushed their neck.

Why you going to shoot the opossum? They are a big eater of ticks and don't carry rabies. Why do white people got to kill off every animal they encounter?

What does the color of someone's skin have to do with this?
Oh, dawgsjw, typical race baiting, sjw bullshite.

My Aussie Shepherd fights possums all the time. They bare their teeth and hiss, but she's never been bitten and they act as if they don't want to bite.
She circles around while the possum hisses, then strikes at it like she does when she whacks a copperhead (her favorite past time). Then, she chomps it until it plays possum. She loses interest, she comes back inside the house, and ten minutes later the possum is gone.
ETA: This one possum must have loved cat food, because he would come up, eat some cat food, get his arse whipped by my Aussie, then leave to come back the next night.

Opossum's have a very low body temperature (I think like 94 degrees) which makes it very very hard for them to contract rabies. It's not impossible, but it's likely it's fine.

they can, it's just extremely rare for them to get it.
