Was softball just too easy for Oklahoma. Are they afraid that if they said softballs were falling every teen girl in Oklahoma would be out there taking batting practice?

Yep, seen hail so large and solid it penetrated the shingles and the sheathing of roofs.
In Oklahoma actually

David Letterman once set off a panic in Indianapolis when he was a weatherman there.
With a straight face he reported that hailstones the size of canned hams were falling in parts of the city.

All hail is dangerous, But those with spikes are a something extra. The storm in the SW is moving ESE, for now so that’s good as far as where I am. But the jet stream storm in the Panhandle has a tornado warning with it. The threat increases as the evening moves on. It’s only 4:30 and it feels like 9:00 because of how dark it is.

Those look like the ones from the April 2021 storm in Norman

Meanwhile, I think they just had a tornado south of New Smyrna Beach in FL.

This line is gonna be a problem.
And I think we're real close to having a comfirmed tornado on the warned storm.

Massive TOR in Perryton TX right NOW

I saw the warning. shite spot for radar, but that's a stout couplet despite the position.

And now Michigan is checking in with a tor warning that has a good couplet.

There's not that much difference between the size of a golf ball and a ping pong ball, is there?
