Got a "friend" going through this process....

Words of wisdom????

ETA: She lives in another state/town and seems pretty committed to being faithful to my pal. I was just thinking that maybe all FA were WHORES like Lawyers/Doctors/Bankers/ETC....

Had one I worked with in college during her off time (she had two jobs). She liked it, but it seemed there was always a chance of her getting released.

Think about how simple their job is. I'm pretty sure I could do it with almost no training. Airlines should save money by offering free flights for whoever volunteers to be the flight attendant for that flight.

Had an uncle that did for awhile. She really liked the job but their schedule is crazy.

I don't get the question. Like what is different about a chic who's job is a flight attendant or a secretary.. Nothing special about the job doesn't make a chic different

Who's it for? If a connection carrier, condolences. If mainline, probably condolences.

The fact they are out of town constantly does make it different.

Uncle? Her?

Is this one of those gender self identifiers?

A friend of mine is married to one. The whole "fly free" bit is bullshite. Technically, it's true, but they make it hard to fly anywhere you would actually want to go in a timely manner.

I had a good friend that was a FA for American West back in the day. The way she described it the job is pretty tiresome and miserable. Usually they would land in their layover city at night and all get dinner and maybe some drinks at the hotel bar, then crash. Not much going out clubbing in Kansas City or Des Moines or wherever the frick they were stuck for the night.

Most FAs are women or gay guys and half the pilots are old men so there isn't much worry there in regards to cheating. However, a small percentage of the pilots were young single guys who would be looking to hook up. Also, they frequently stay at a decent hotel near the airport (think Radisson) that has a bar filled with businessmen who are travelling.

The opportunity is definitely there if the girl is looking for some strange. But it isn't like Spring Break where she will be shooting tequila all night and going skinny dipping in the pool with dudes she just met. Unless she is a whore.

And if she has an active Tinder account that is red flag.

Unions make it impossible to fire them. That's why there is a huge amount of 45+ year old mega bitch flight attendants.

I know a pilot who was married but also boning a flight attendant on the side. Since he flew out of a city that wasn't where he lived with his wife, he was able to live two separate lives.
