Used to but it seems there are more faked/rehearsed interactions now between Marcus and the owners. My interest has been waning.

I watched "Mystery Diners" last night, and it was almost as fake as "Cajun Justice"

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the Profit and Shark Tank. While the crux of it is still real (private investment into these businesses), the storylines are getting annoying. I chalk it up to someone higher up the corporate ladder at Disney and Universal wanting larger audiences from the show and looking to add people that want the "reality TV" drama of it.

I enjoy the show. Sometimes though, Lemonis can be a bit of a dick.

It used to be better, yes. The spontaneous drama was the best. Like in that food trailer episode where the woman at the end where she essentially comes onto Marcus and he tell her to frick off was pretty good.

Was that the one where she found out that her ex had a hoochie momma on the payroll?

I've seen every single episode except for last night's. I can't wait after reading the comments on their FB page.

The high-end gazebo guys in California episode where the original investor tried to squeeze Marcus out and Marcus took him to B-School right there was awesome. The guy knew he just got played.

Same thing with Restaurant Impossible. R. Irvine used to come in and tell them your food sucks, the place is filthy, and your a dumb arse when it comes to finance. Let's fix this shite. Now it's group hugs and family counseling. Same can be said for Bar Rescue + product placement/promotion.

Im a huge fan of the show. Last night's might have been the best at being bad. It wasn't a "I want to go to a BBQ place in the middle of South Carolina" moment, it was a "Frick these bitches and everything about them." moment.

Some of that BS does get annoying. I watch it for the business aspect of it. I had to turn off one episode of The Profit because the business owner was crying. I have no desire to see a grown man cry. I couldn't understand why they were showing that so much.

I finally got around to watching the 240sweet episode. May the first episode where someone studied how the series worked and came up with the right story to get Marcus' money and to get him to do their dirty work (get rid of the dad).

Usually the deceitful people on the show are just trying to get some cash or want to ride on Marcus' coat tails by becoming the go-to business for all of Marcus' empire.

These chicks wanted the cash, the publicity, and for Marcus to "fix" their process.

Telling their employee to play up her cancer with Marcus as the trump card was awesome.

Checking out Sweet Pete's Facebook page... looks like Pete is now making Marshmallow candies. Wondering if Marcus took that marshmallow cutter back when he bailed outof 240sweet.
