I'm struggling, not because of DST, but because of the OM St Paddy's day parade..

No, DST is the time when people stop struggling.

If you have young kids on a schedule then you probably are struggling

It was a beautiful day...

Good friends, cold beer, 172#'s of hot crawfish and hot, trashy women throwing Ramen noodles, bars of soap and Lucky Charms.

It’s literally a night and day difference though. I (ie my kids) typically wake up when the sun comes up, so it’s definitely an adjustment.

Last night we were trying to get my 5 y/o ready for bed and he is like wtf it’s way too early. I didn’t really know what to say to make sense of it for him, just told him we did something funny with the clocks and it was later now than it would have been yesterday and wasn’t happy about it either.

Not sure how people are not thrown off by an abrupt shift in the way a day is framed. Quite disruptive for me. I prefer DST but the adjustment is worse in spring than fall.
