Costa Rica
Love Costa Rica, can live there like a king with even a modest amount of US bucks in tow. Bad part is I think if you still have to work when you move there people are paid peanuts and taxes are high. I remember my taxi driver there telling me the tax on getting a vehicle is ungodly.

Income Tax maxes out at 25% for self-employed and 15% for employed. The VAT is 13%. To bring a car into the country the tax is 50% and higher for models that rolled out of the assembly line in the last three years. That is probably what he was talking about.

I honestly believe that America has these protests because we are one of only a few countries where we actually are willing to confront a problem of this nature.
I don't think America is nearly as bad as people make it.

Have you fallen on your head?

Not abroad, but have seriously thought about moving out to the middle of the desert for a few years now. I absolutely hate everything about living in a city.

Lol, you’ve never been abroad, have you?
We live in fricking paradise.

I've been to Europe and Africa, never lived abroad though. I'd take a slight decrease in living conditions if it meant living in a less deranged society

I'd recommend Djibouti. Or New Iberia if you dont want to spend too much on the move.
I’ve spent some time in Djibouti, not the worst place I’ve been but the lack of air conditioning would really Affect my quality of life.

Tristan da Cunha!
I actually lived their for a few months as a toddler. Don’t remember it of course.
There is no reason to go there.
