We stopped at a gas station in Slidell a few weeks back (2:00 pm , give or take) and a very nice looking lady, blond, well dressed, hair fixed, jewelry, well spoken was going from car to car asking for money for gas. No excuses given, just, "Will you give me money for a tank of gas?" I said, "No thank you." and she quickly left and went to the pickup truck of rednecks down the row of pumps. As near as I could tell, they said no thanks also. She asked the car beside us before asking me. I think they said nope also. Moments after the redneck pickup she got in her car (white newer model Nissan Ultima)over on the edge of the lot - not at the pumps, left and drove about a bock down the street to another convenience store.
I guess she has a route she covers before picking up the carpool at school, then home to fix dinner for the hubby?

that picture doesn't even do it justice. she's cute, but it's just painfully obvious that she is not homeless by any stretch of the imagination. that looks to be a relatively clean and new pair of nike's she's rocking with that makeup and jewelry too
