The Left has lost its mind. I agree with many classically liberal positions on free speech, thought and debate.
The culture wars the left are waging are outright fascist. Diverse opinions are effectively muted and you run the risk of being let go from your job by merely expressing an opinion that counters the leftist paradigm.
I wish I had the stomach for such a fight but anything short of a National awakening to this bunch of nonsense will never stop it.
If there was ever a group of people who sought victimhood more than the current Left, I would be downright surprised. The entire party identifies as disadvantaged victims of one part or another.
I miss well reasoned classic debate. This country has lost its will for it. White guilt has infected white people like a massive plague. I can’t wait for Hispanics to become our largest minority. Maybe they’ll bring some actual work ethic, this current group just likes to complain.

Not at all. Those are mayors of cities (at the time of the OP) that were having trouble with rioters on a scale large enough to be reported on. Most of those on that list had tied the hands of their police departments when it came to dealing with criminal rioters.
The point of the original post was to illustrate that all of those Mayors, and the City Councils of those cities, are all positions elected by the public and are supposedly accountable to the public.
