In East Jefferson, I haven't had many mosquitoes, but the wasps are out of control this summer.

Yes, around the delta/ rice fields, they are big and fly in formation, and can attest that it's one of the worst areas I've ever been, and grew up in South Louisiana...

I thought the same thing when I saw the title of this thread. I have been bitten twice before I got to the end of it.

Dead men tell no tails. You want to go fishing?

I bet you steal more chain than you can swim with.

None in Vegas. :)

The dry desert heat can suck at times but it does have advantages.

The chem-trails that the freaks are worried about is really the mosquito man spraying.

You know, I've noticed the same thing this year. It's been nice. There were massive swaths of them last summer/fall, to the point I was terrified of being outside since I was pregnant and didn't want Zika.

We were paying mosquito authority to spray non stop the past few years. And this year it's been a non issue. Anyone know why?

ETA: have had a lot more problems with wasps and horse flies, however.

side note: we live in BR.
Side side note:knock on wood

Bump because they still are not bad.

Can someone explain who knows? I would have thought with all this rain they would be swarming us. Is spraying just working that well?
