Took an edible, couple shots of brandy, sipping an IPA, got my ear buds in listening to my Christmas playlist, just in the zone wrapping some gifts.

Merry Christmas everybody.

I do. I could wrap for days and not get bored. There’s something very satisfying about getting every seem folded correctly. And when you figure out how to perfectly wrap an odd shape is the best.

Glad I’m not the only one. I find it one of the simple pleasures in life.

I enjoy giving presents.

I wrap like a drunk 5 year old.

My wife makes me build the gifts, so I get 2 to 3 hours in the garage by myself drinking wine while making baby doll castles and scooters without being yelled at. I love it.

Very hard pass, but I get why people enjoy it.

It’s not my favorite activity by any means but I enjoy doing it while watching Christmas movies (preferably musical ones to sign along with). Wrapped last night to the Sound of Music and White Christmas.

I'm about to stuff the stockings, but my two kids keep bumbling around upstairs...

I love to wrap & I’m good at it (years of working retail). A few friends will even pay me to wrap theirs.

I enjoy it if I do it all at one time. I get a few cocktails in and go to town!

I have a Grinch style of wrapping that I think looks endearing but quite butchered.

I do not… I just keep folding, wadding, and taping until it’s all covered

That’s a very satisfying thing to do while high. Another one is pressure washing.

A year or two ago I needed to wrap some last minute gifts. I was at my parents house and the only paper I could find that could sufficiently wrap the gifts was this really thick, heavy weighted paper, basically about as thick or thicker than resume paper. It also had a glittery, 120 bit sandpaper type texture to it. Tried taping it with the tape I had been using, wouldn’t hold. Tried the packing tape from a tape gun, still wouldn’t hold.

How the hell was someone supposed to wrap a present with this stuff? Then it occurred to me… hot glue gun.

Changed my life.

Could do odd shapes, make corners tighter, plus there is this odd satisfying feeling from pulling the trigger and that glue slowly coming out of the end of that gun.

During the high school years, we did fundraisers by renting a small trailer and parking outside the mall - wrapping gifts for donations. I got pretty good at wrapping then, but I can think of a billion other things id rather be doing.
