I remember there was a Futurama episode where robot sex eventually led to the downfall of society since every great scientific achievement up to that point was made by guys trying to get laid, and after sex robots everyone just stopped showing up to work 
Also I think that a great episode of black mirror could be made using this concept. Some woman sells the rights to her image (face and body) to some kind of sex robot producer, and then is subsequently horrified as she realizes every creep across the nation can buy what is essentially a copy of her
