Did it this past summer. Legs as long as my arm and were the best crab legs I have ever eaten. We ate at Tracy’s in Juneau.

It’s funny to me that posters on here act like ballers but will not pay a premium price on food. “King crab was too pricey” “No crawfish at that price!”

This topic has my gout flaring up.

I don't think I've ever had any type of crab and not enjoyed it.

Do the king crabs regrow their legs?

Were they still really expensive in Alaska?
Everything is really expensive in Alaska, especially in the summer.
King Crab has an awesome flavor, doesn’t need a bunch of spice.

I always found King Crab x-rays to be pretty interesting.

A couple times i've had Dungeness straight out of Puget Sound and it was incredible. Will remember those meals and restaurants for a long time.
Turns out there is a season for this and we missed it by a few weeks last time in town, which mean we all sat at a fish shack and ate bar food, which was a total disappointment.
