Anyone done one of those poop-in-a-box colon screenings?

I’m actually past the age of needing one done, but I’d much rather this than a traditional colonoscopy. Research seems to show that the accuracy is really good. Experiences?

Yes but I’ll never get the results because my wife is no longer talking to me.

Always wondered what kind of weirdo would go into a field where you shove things up people’s assholes.

If you're talking about Cologuard, don't waste your money. They're very unreliable

I am in the same situation and have talked to my doc about them. She says insurance won’t cover it, so you’ll have to come up with the $500. If you think about it, I’m not sure it is that good an idea anyway. Normal colonoscopy removes polyps before they become cancerous....so your chance of getting colon cancer should be minimal. The tes you mention only detects cancer after you have in....less than ideal....

Crap in the box and mail it back.
Very easy and no risk of a perforated colon. Whoever said it is unreliable needs to share statistics to back it up.

I've done it. It's easy peasy.
You don't take colon blow.
You don't even have to leave the house. Ups will drop it off and pick it up.
The only bad part if you have a positive result, you need to do the camera up the arse test.
You can go to their web site and it will tell you all about it.
