It’s not really her fault. She may very well spend her last moments in a ER.

Yep. I'm in my 40's and it didn't bother me too much. I thought it was a sinus infection.
But two of my family members went to the ER for breathing issues and pneumonia. They are fine now. I hope it goes well for your grandma.

No, I'm vaccinated.

Will keep your grandmother in our thoughts and prayers.

What does it feel like? How was the ER?My grandmother has it at 88 and is in the ER waiting room. No visiting no bed. She does not deserve this.

My grandmother's 96 year old brother and 93 year old sister both caught it in their nursing home in Greensboro, AL. The brother was never even aware he had it until he tested positive and had no symptoms, the sister went to DCH in Tuscaloosa with a really bad cough for 3 days then back to the nursing home.

Got it 2 weeks ago.

Chills, fever up to 103.5 for 3 days, milder fever for the other 4 days. Still dealing with a little bit of fatigue.

Hope your grandmother pulls through.

HaHa
I had it in January .
I am 65.
I thought I had a mild cold. The only reason that I know I had Covid is that my employer required me to do a daily symptom screening, and since I had the sore throat, I was required to be tested.

I never had fever, or headache, no body aches...only a sore throat for 2 days...and no cough.
On day 6 I lost my sense of smell and taste for about 3 days.
It did not all return immediately, but over a couple of weeks it did.
Disclaimer: For several months prior I had been taking Vitamin D and a multi.,and zinc. AND on day 3 of my mild symptoms,I got hold of Ivermectin and took it!!

My entire immediate family (5 additional adults and 3 children) contracted it also...
They all did very well...some did have fever and aches...others had super mild symptoms like me.
We all took the Ivermectin, and one family member, who is overweight, did have breathing issues, but received steroids and did fine after that!

I'm 32. It felt like a mild cold for a few days and then back to normal. I would imagine it is like this for most people.

I don't think a lot of people here will be able to relate. I hope she gets better.

Yep my grandmother was a nursing home. Her help got it which is probably where she got it. They sent her to the ER. I just hope she gets a room and not outside at this point. Old people are just fragile.

I got it a month ago, mid 40's in decent shape. had a headache for 2-3 days, body aches 2-3 days, intense night sweats 3-5 days and would feel tired at weird times. Like full of energy all days then real tired, would rest for 30 minutes and back at it. All in all it wasn't that bad at all, haven't had the flu in 10-15 years, but, that was 20 times worse.
