I don't think they have sports betting there and it's nasty. Not all of the casinos are offering it.

I have never seen many trash people at the Bellagio, Venetian, Wynn, Cosmopolitan and Aria in Las Vegas.

If I were you, I'd probably just plan to drive the extra 30 minutes to Biloxi where you can hop between several casinos to see which has the best sports book. Next time, you can target the particular one you want to attend.

FWIW, since they have all only been open for a few weeks, you may want to be sure the hotels aren't booked up for the first football weekend.

Check out the sports betting, then leave the casino and go down to Old Towne.

Due to the fact that they have the most annoying commercials I have ever heard on the radio, I will never step foot into the place.

My biggest issue with Hollywood is that there is no garage. So it can be a long walk to the gaming floor if your not using the valet. At least the Silver Slipper has a garage.

I went 2 weeks ago to Hollywood and it was pouring rain, so I had to sprint to the door to avoid getting soaked.

Comp wise, I find they have been stingy lately. So I haven’t been that generous with my gaming dollar with them.

As far as the sports betting, seeing both casinos setup their operations, they seem to be starting small.

Hollywood and Silver Slipper just have a one or 2 counters with several monitors showing the lines and scores and maybe a table or 2. Silver Slipper just added a counter to its Keno counter and put a few extra TV screens to show lines and a few games. Hollywood just carved out a little space to put its operation, not very big I my opinion.

Some operations like Scarlet Pearl are in the process of building a massive lounge area for their sports betting. Their operation looks to be pretty large as it is taking an unused players club counter and small section of their gaming space to make way for new area. It is also in a prime location as it is right near the entrance to the gaming floor.

A very close friend to me got kicked out of brunch at the slipper. He’s from the bay so I’m not really shocked. Those mimosas catch up quick after a night of hard boozing.

I bet sports at the Slipper yesterday.

They are using William Hill lines and juice.

For what it’s worth The Palace Casino in Biloxi is 100% smoke free. Still have the degenerates and penny slots crowd but at least nobody is mowing down Pall Malls next to you.
