Meh, Wells Fargo has always been fine for me for basic checking.

I'm terrible at checking for my paycheck, and probably wouldn't know it didn't go through for a couple of days.

Good for you, but they may be the worst of all nationals.

Idk what to tell you. My money deposits into my WF account 2 days early, I'm able to pay my bills from my WF account, and I can use the 3rd party money apps with my WF account.
Maybe their other products suck, but I don't see how their checking account is any better/worse than another big national bank's checking account.

One of my employees had the same issue today with Capital One Bank.

A day earlier than when Im supposed to be paid
Pay day is Wednesday. A year or so ago capital one announced early direct deposit and I get it on Tuesday. Non capital one employees get paid on Wednesday
Maybe I’m getting it on time and they are getting it a day late

I was just messing with you
When you’re used to getting paid on Friday, it’s nice to get it Thursday. :)
But then when you’re getting paid every other Thursday, you’re still getting paid every 14 days. You only got paid early once, the first time haha.
I remember them marketing the get paid early and was like wait, only the first time is early

I never get it at the exact same time each deposit. It's always a couple days early though.

Do you know your ESG score?
People with low ESG scores will continue to be slow and short paid.

This is why you bank local.
Cap 1 could care less if you get paid.

So today I am supposed to get paid today, checked the ADP and my check was indeed sent from my job to them.
My guess is that your company guarantees payment actually on Friday, but your bank will occasionally release your funds on Thursday.
If payroll was delayed for whatever reason, this can cause a delay with your bank releasing funds "on-time" as they normally do.
Be patient, and I bet you see your direct deposit on Friday -- the day of actual pay day.

Happen to me last week. Didn’t get my direct deposit till like 2 days later.
