Cox Internet and cable user here. No complaints.
Same here.

For shits and giggles I just called Cox to see about adding TV. Awesome lady hooked us up with HBO, sports pak 1 + 2, redzone, and kept our 50 MB/s internet for $124 total with no contract. Should I expect bad things to come of this? I tend to only see bad things regarding Cox on here.
The bright side is, you should have a full year to prepare your anus for at least a $50/mo price increase.

I'm happy with dish.
I can give you a discount code if you want.

Define "happy". I'm not pissed at Cox. They've provided adequate service, but nothing more. They give me what I pay for with very limited interruptions. That being said, I've heard horror stories, but I haven't experienced them.
Take horror stories with a grain of salt. Nobody who is happy with their service takes the time to tell everyone they can get to listen about their adequate service. Every a-hole that thinks he's been wronged tells everyone who will listen about it.

I have Cox for Internet and Direct for TV and I'm happy with both.
Same. My internet with Cox has been absolutely stellar. Consistent 70-100 Mbps download speeds.
The TV wasn't bad, but direct TV was just cheaper.

Cox internet and DirecTV. Happy with that combo
I would go with that. Directv is awesome for TV but AT&T internet sucks

That is a new customer package. It is going to go up after 6 months or so.

direct tv. nothing beats nfl sunday ticket to waste a day with on sunday. great customer service as well.
The only problem I have with direct TV is that you cannot buy red zone unless you buy the Sunday ticket .....
I watch football all day on Sundays but never change the channel while the saints are on , so that's around $400.00 for 16 weeks just to watch red zone for 3hrs a week....

I liked Charter when I lived in mandeville a while back.
Direct TV seems to have a better picture than cable.

I was more than happy with Cox when I lived in NOLA. I cancelled due to my bill and they never cut off my cable feed... It's like they apologized by giving it to me for free.

It really depends on the speed you're eligible to get and other variables. I have 75 Mbps with Uverse and haven't had any issues with my service.

I'm happy with cox. In the 5 years we've had cox at our house we've had one problem, the wire that connects our house to the pole went bad. cox came out and fixed it in about an hour or so. Don't have an issue with the bill because I'm not poor.
