Anybody Used eHarmony.com Lately?

If so, what were your results?
Fifteen years ago, two different buddies (who are still married) found their SOs there.
However I haven't heard much about eHarmony.com lately, and am not sure whether to recommend it to someone in their 30's who works in a big city and seems to be looking for a long-term relationship.

It's more like eCacaphony.com these days

I met my wife on eHarmony. Me and my old roommate got drunk one night, started bitching about the bar scene and whores, and both decided to sign up for eHarmony and Match.com. We drunkenly made dumb fake profiles.
Woke up the next morning and realized I had signed up for a year for both and decided to at actually make a real profile just to see what would happen.
Met my now wife within 3 months. Been married 14 years now and have 2 beautiful kids.
I assume most people use the dating apps these days.

That was back before they were forced to "open" their services to "non-traditional" couples.

Meet my wife on match.com as well. I had to go through about 6-10 crazy woman to finally meet her but it did work for me.
I also met a few other nice woman but we just didn't have much in common, but that is the way it goes.

My divorced buddy - who's 5'9, barely any hair on his head, and a potbelly (prolly 30 lbs overweight) has been on Hinge for a few weeks and said it's a game changer.
He was on Bumble and Match and said it was depressing.
(FTR- I told him to shave his head bald and lose 30 lbs and he'll have all kinds of trim messaging him, but that's too hard I guess)

You'll never get a match with that spelling son.
Woman want a man with some sense.

Mr. Salmon (with a hard L) you don't have to act like you "accidentally" got online to date. nerd

I"m 38 and in a massive metropolis area. Lafayette. I signed up as was getting some good hits, but a game changer was finding this guy on twitter who put profiles of older ladies that want kids. I just told them that I was also interested in having kids (I actually have 4 from a previous) and I am getting all kinds of trim. Just sign up.

Never heard of Hinge, but per Wikipedia this might not be the right app.
quote:
The application's popularity was boosted in 2019 when U.S. presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg revealed that he had met his husband on Hinge.
As of 2023, Hinge had 23 million regular users.
ETA via Google:

As far as Hinge users go, 64% are men and 36% are women.

The gender distribution on eHarmony is 51% men and 49% women.
