No I’m in the freight industry so it’s really not safe to have 23 drivers making deliveries on icy roads. But you probably don’t have a real job so you wouldn’t understand.

After being up since six this morning they finally told us we are closed. I did not want to cross that bridge today.

I just told my boss no way i’m going out in this. Even after saying there was a state of emergency declared (thanks to those who kindly pointed that out, don’t know how i missed it), they were saying it doesn’t necessarily mean stay home. The boss is asking for pictures of the “snow” as proof.

Im in the Midwest closer to the top of the system and am working today.
Luckily, just mostly dry snow and a lot of wind.
My only concern is the high being 1° and the windchill being -25°.

Man it's almost like it's a business trying to make money and they are going to wait to see what weather looks like before telling you so you can clear your plans of nothing to go out and do nothing since it's frozen.

My work is open here in Dallas. I called at 6:30 am and said no chance I’m driving again after doing it last week.
