Going the other way I saw traffic was backed up for about 12 miles and at the front there were 2 police cars at crawling speed leading the way. Not sure why they were going so slow.

They had to remove the concrete barriers to do some aspects of the I-10 widening construction. They shut it down to one lane until Monday morning for the workers safety.

People need to start taking 190 > 105 to get from BR to Houston or vice versa. 0 traffic and not that much longer of a trip.
We did it this AM. 8:45 Downtown BR > Woodlands. 4 and a half hours. With a 10-15 minute stop

I drove to Houston last week, they had an I-10 overpass completely closed westbound in Baytown. Everybody had to get off on the feeder then get back on I-10. Complete clusterfrick
