No. Mostly 2 lane. 105 from Beaumont to Conroe is almost all 2 lane with some passing lanes here and there. If you're going down to Houston take the loop south of Cleveland to 59 to the loop or 99. then grab I-45 there

To an outsider and using just this board, it seems you have the worst traffic in the nation.

I drove across the state line coming into Louisiana around 4 pm this afternoon and the traffic going westbound into Texas was moving no issues.
105 is mostly a two lane road with wide shoulders if you break down. It is quicker if you are going North of Houston.
