Doc, whatever happened to Medico-Patient confidentiality.
I don't recall giving the guy's name, date of birth, or medical record number.

I would rather be shot during cold weather versus hot. Shot three times
Come on motherfricker. You know it’s not normal to be shot three times. You know you need to give us the stories. Just tell us without making us ask.

Worked with a guy 12-15 years ago who was shot in the shoulder in Desert Storm. He said it was the worst pain he had ever felt and felt like his shoulder was on fire.

I think that depends on the bullet and caliber obviously.
Getting stabbed in the wrong place can cause a hell of a mess.
sure, but in general.
If you were to ask a ER doc if he'd rather work on person with a wound from a gunshot or a wound from a knife with no other context, I can't imagine he's going to choose the gunshot....unless he liked a challenge.

I have 4 BB’s in me from when my dad peppered me with a 12 gauge while rabbit hunting when I was a kid. They burned upon entry, that’s all I got on being shot.

Corkfather I think
Did we ever find out the real story about that? He always downplayed any connection to anything but most people don’t get their house blown up and attacked like they’re in Fallujah.

You’re probably right but I could see how a deep jagged stab wound could be worse than a handgun shooting ball ammo, which is what I think a lot of the time thugs use.

Elementary school friend dropped his .410 while getting out of a boat. The butt hit the ground and it shot all the skin off the back of his hand. All the bones were sticking out. They had to graph skin to close it up.
He was a legend for our entire 4th grade year.
Teachers had the kids pool money and they bought him one of those vibrating football games as a get well present.. I am still envious of him.

Had a friend in high school get shot in the leg after trying to sneak into a girl’s bedroom window (she knew, her dad didn’t).
.22 rifle bullet went through the middle of back of his thigh and came out about an inch above his knee. Said it felt like a wasp sting at first, but hurt like hell a few minutes later.
Dude poured rubbing alcohol on it and wrapped in an Ace bandage and showed up at school the next day walking with a limp.

Ex brother in law first maced me then shot me in the calf. Then tried to shoot me in the face but the piece of shite 32 jammed. It went straight through and didn't hit any bone. It didn't hurt but burned a good bit.
Okay, sorry, but we need more. What started it? Is he in jail for attempted murder?

In 1986, I was shot in the neck in a robbery attempt. Blessed to be alive. The .22 ricocheted off my vertebrae and lodged in my collarbone area. Bullet is still there.
Everytime I get an upper torso X-ray, the technician says, What is that? Is that a bullet?!

By a BB gun at close range, hurt like a son of a bitch, but survived the attempted murder.
