my most common memory is getting there thinking it was a good idea then about halfway through the journey going why are we doing this.

We got busted smokin weed there by an old fat cop watching with binoculars.

That's right. It was a bus. Been 15 years since I've been out there.

After one of our friends died jumping off the cliff our parents didn't like us going anymore.

Woah...I know of a couple of people who got paralyzed from the rope swing landing on trees under the water.

Was there in 2000 the day of the baseball natty. You could hear the game playing on radios and people shouting down the score as you floated down the river.

Well, it's a fact. You don't jump or dive into water you can't see the bottom of.

I went to high school with a guy that jumped off the pier at Stanislaus and hit his head on an old piling from one of the old piers. Paralyzed. Lucky to have lived.
