Unless you have some data from your phone, watch or dashcam, you’re SOL fighting it yourself. Just hire a traffic attorney. Better to give them money than the road pirates.

Contact the DA's office for St Charles Parish and ask about pretrial diversion. You'll pay still but you can do a class online and it'll stay off your record. Judge will side with the trooper 99.5/100 times.

This is the way. The prosecutor will ask for a continuance from the judge. Don’t agree to it. Say you are here and ready for trial, you’ve taken the day off of work, long distance traveled, blah blah blah. Strongly oppose the continuance. Judge will most likely deny the continuance and the prosecutor will dismiss the case. Don’t be an arse though. Once it’s dismissed, leave and get out of there fast!!!!
