I set up three recorders and I caught a number of things including ghost turning one of the recorders on and off and another recorder caught William winter calling for his wife. Story is apocryphal... no record of that slave existing and the kids died of yellow fever epidemic that year. It’s a bulkshit story meant to sell reservations.

I stayed in one of the cabins (the end one farthest from the parking lot) a couple of years ago. In the middle of the night I woke up to a loud thud in the bedroom, like someone dropped a thick dictionary from chest high. I jumped out of bed and looked around, but I couldn't find anything weird on the floor or out of place.

I mark it up as being something unexplained and not a declarative paranormal encounter.

I stayed there once overnight. Stayed in the doll room; can’t remember the name of it. Had a windstorm that uprooted an oak on the property and knocked the power out around 10pm, and stayed out for about 8 hours. Thank goodness it was springtime and never got above 71 in the room. Slept like a baby. No paranormal experiences.

The history of the plantation that they push is utter bullshite. They get the names right, but everything else is crap. The real history is tragic enough; I guess a poisoned cake made by a slave is just more exciting than yellow fever.

I know someone that stayed there. They had a few small things happen. Like they turned a small statue thing around to face the wall because it was creepy. They left the room and the statue was turned back and there was a wet footprint on the floor. They hadn't taken a shower there at that point.

I went once. I was fascinated by the history of the place and all the old things. But no ghosts or weird shite.
