If you’re feeling anything these days, don’t you worry. They’ve got a name already picked out for it, and a treatment for an absolute certainty.

I see what Belichick’s doing! He may be 6 ft under before his girlfriend deals with that.

Perimenopause is messing up the sex with her irregular periods and I was not ready for this to happen yet.

Well tell her to stop it then.

Does it get rid of the “Not tonight I have a headache” often associated with this “condition”?

Now that they have a name for it, you’re going to be a horrible person to continue to ask for it.

The worst part is you get the PMS crazies on a much more unpredictable schedule.

Perimenopause is a thing. And yes it’s more widely known and studied nowadays.

But like others have suggested, have her see an actual physician and have blood work done. It may be as simple as low (or low normal) thyroid levels or she may benefit from hormone (testosterone and/or estrogen) therapy.

And she may need to have a gynecologic procedure done too - are y’all done having children? A hysterectomy - while it sounds extreme- and certainly would not be the first thing to try- may be warranted if she’s continuing to have menstrual cycles every 14 days.

Wait till she's hot all of the time and has the AC cranked down and you're sitting in the house wearing a hoodie or insulated vest.

Yep, happening in my household as well. Wife (no pics) is 43 and started this a few months ago. She is just ready to have a hysterectomy and be done with it, her dr wants to try changing birth control first. She had a ultrasound done which showed some cysts but nothing to be concerned about.

It's Real

It doesn't end quickly

It will eventually make your house miserable

No sex, freezing cold then burning up, and eventually she will become the most miserable person in the world to be around. Constantly complaining one minute, then normal self the next.

You'll grow to hate her.

This will be your new life.

Red Foreman explains it the best

Been a member for a while…ask away.
FYI - I really don’t think it’s worth the money...even at $12 a year.
