My kid moves in around 9 hours from now - early start due to the Engineering camp. Moving into the Engineering dorm and has a corner room or whateverthat has a private bathroom ( just him and roommate - not shared with an adjacent room). Lucky bastard.

Tell your boy to help the freshman girls going through rush who'll be moving in on Friday.

My first thought. I started lsu 22 years ago, was a complete loser for about three years. Then things took off, so any kids i dont know about would be about 18-19 now.

engineering camp,
That’s a great way to start LSU.

Be sure to tell him to be more outgoing than normal during it and the first two weeks of school. Builds a base of friends he will be around the next 4-5 years that will last a lifetime.

Do everything as a group

My boy is headed there tomorrow. He’s a sophomore, volunteered to help with move in day, got him early move in as a result.

Good luck to your son.

I for one am damn glad I have nothing to do with sorority rush other than pay the bills and Venmo more funds.

The actives have been working their asses off to get ready to begin Sunday’s torture of the potential new members.

Fraternity rush is so much more laid back.

I offered my daughter $250 if she wore her high school uniform the first day of classes. She passed.

What's funny is you can still spot the freshmen girls the first week because they "try to look cute" for class whereas most upperclassman girls are rolling in oversized T-shirts and yoga pants/nike shorts

Yeah, okay. That's what he's telling you. We all know the real reason he's helping all them freshman move in.

That's fantastic, and I'm honestly torn on whether or not I would've taken that offer.

.....prooooobably not

My son is! Geaux Tigers! He is doing an engineering camp, so he moves into the dorms tomorrow. He is the only one from his HS going to LSU. Then again he did graduate from North Thurston in Lacey, WA. Not a lot of LSU fans up here. He'll only know two people on campus, his cousin and his other cousin. Good luck to your boy

What is the cost of LSU compared to schools in Washington state?

That's because she left her high school uniform over at my place. And for only $100.
