HS games in LA being moved to Thursday because of anticipation deluge.

Figure the helicopter moms would already be preying on the superintendents petrified of lawyers to get classes canceled.

Buses are gonna float away, or kids will be attacked by the displaced alligators at the bus stops. EBR will call it a “self-led study day”. Internet will slow down across town as kids fire up their Xbox’s in unison

I know models arent always accurate, but the forecast doesn't seem to match what ANY of them say...

Models are potential outcomes. Forecasts are predictions based on data, including models.

How many forecasts in BR in 2016 hit actual the rain totals, even though some models predicted the stalled out system?

Why is this, repeatedly, so hard for people to understand?

haven't the weather peeps been vacillating on actual rainfall totals? Updates are all over my feed and none seem to be consistent.

My sons school has moved their homecoming game to Thursday because of the weather. I live in the Mobile area.

Yes, the forecasts have been up and down. More down recently from what I've seen. But the underlying conditions for the high potentials are still there.

According to one of the current school board member candidates, they no longer take the day off. Bringing it back is one of his campaign platforms.

In my day we walked 5 miles to school in 3 feet of water on our hands and feet and we were beaten if we complained

Through Sunday night the NAM is showing less than an inch of rain. Through 1pm Friday the HRRR has less than an inch, well less depending on exactly where you are.

The three day QPF forecasts between 1.25" to 1.50".

Take from that what you will.
