When I wake in the middle of the night to pee, I'll sit down. Every morning I sit to pee and wait on the poop to come while browsing on my phone.

the only time I sit down to pee is when I'm kinda on the fence as to whether I need to poo or not. I sit down just in case the poo wants to come out. If it doesn't, i'll enjoy the piss just sitting down.

Middle of the night I sit down to piss and I'm not ashamed.
Don't have to turn the lights on, don't have to even open my eyes.
Its the best way to piss without really waking up so I can easily fall back asleep and pick up my dream right where I left off...getting fellatio from Samantha Hoopes.

I don't make sitting to piss a habit...hate having to tuck it inside the seat rim as it is...
I was shocked to see how many people stand up to wipe their arse...I don't understand the physics involved in this maneuver, or how it is more sanitary, even.

Ehh its not really a full stand. Its a slight hover 6-12" off the seat using leg strength to hold you up, while remaining the general squatting position. Or sometimes just a lean to the left to raise the right arse cheek off the seat. Its more sanitary to me to not stick my hand in the toilet bowl.

Sitting is better for at least the following reasons:
less mess (at least less potential for mess)
you can always read - through the Kindle app on my phone, I probably read 4-6 more books per year than when I stood because there's never a non-reading moment.
airplanes - it's just much easier/better than trying to stand with your head slanted against the ceiling and with the plane moving around
middle of night get out of bed pees - it's better because you can allow yourself not to be fully awake
morning wood - much more manageable
less mess (at least less potential for mess)
